This was quite the interesting day. The line for the shuttle buses was too long so Grandpa, Sierra, Olivia, and I decided to hoof it to the parade. We made it to the end of the route not long before the parade started and actually ended up with some decent spots near the fence. Sierra passed the time waiting by snapping some pics. By the look of this first one, I’d say she’s inherited Dan’s photographic eye! <3 <3 The only bad part about Sierra holding the camera… she’s not in any of the photos! Next time
We are so excited about this new park! It is right across the street from our place. The grand opening was this past Sunday. Here’s some pics of the girls.
Grandma and I took Olivia to her first circus today! We had a great time… at least until it passed Olivia’s nap time… Click on the photo below for a slide show.
We had a wonderful Christmas this year! Olivia was the last one awake. I actually had to go and wake her up but when I did, she JUMPED UP with excitement! She was really thankful to everyone for all her gifts and she is enjoying them all so much. Alyssa and Sierra spent Christmas Eve and Christmas morning with us too so that made the holiday even more fun! Click on the photo below for a slide show of all the festivities.
Here’s a cute video of Olivia singing her favorite song
October was a very busy month for us. We visited a pumpkin patch, O celebrated a friend’s birthday at swimming lessons, there was a Pinocchio play at O’s school, the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk, and of course Halloween and a Halloween party at O’s school. Click below to view a slide show of all our activities.
Grandma was babysitting O one Sunday (in Sept 2009) so Dan and I could go see a double feature. She took O up to see Nana and Papa. As you can see, much fun was had at lunch!
O really reminds me of her Cousin, Cali, in the second pic.
O is still going strong with swimming lessons. In October (yes, it has been that long since I’ve posted), Daddy got off work early so he came to check out his little fish in action. Here’s some shots he took while we waited for class to start.
We took a faily trip to the zoo over Labor Day weekend. It was super hot but O had a good time… I can’t say the same for Alyssa and Sierra but they were very good sports!
My favorite pic of the bunch is the one below of Olivia and Sierra checking out the manatees (in the air conditioning)
Did I mention O has NO FEAR? Even if there weren’t glass between her and that snake she’d still be just as curious.
